This multifunctional lighting fixture was developed as part of a group project to address the needs of interior design students. The goal was to create a lighting solution that provides both direct task lighting and ambient lighting in a single fixture.
The design features a foldable, modular structure that allows the user to adjust between direct lighting for focused tasks and softer ambient lighting. This flexibility ensures the fixture can adapt to various lighting needs throughout the day.
The fixture opens and closes like a fan, offering easy adjustment in terms of positioning and lighting direction. This feature makes it user-friendly and ensures that the light can be customized to suit different work environments.
Developed in collaboration with my good friend Çağatay Uygar Memiş, this lighting fixture combines functionality with a sleek, modern design. The result is a versatile and aesthetically pleasing piece that offers both practical lighting solutions and a unique look for any space.
