SALT
This restaurant project is where I first explored my design language, which is characterized by the use of soft forms—a style that has been a recurring element in my previous work. During the design phase, I incorporated both soft and rigid forms to create a dynamic atmosphere. The lighting has been carefully planned to ensure an even distribution of light, complementing the natural light streaming through the glass facade. Wood has been extensively used throughout the space, bringing a warmer color palette to the design. Different textures on the floor help to distinguish and define various areas, while the ceiling lighting is designed to create a visual connection with the floor.
In terms of planning, a key focus was ensuring that guests can move comfortably between tables. This approach not only enhances the proximity between diners at different tables but also emphasizes the central area, which has been designated as the bar.
